Peace
Peace is
something that everyone wants,
We ask for it in
our prayers and chants.
We’ve tried to
get it for years and years
Trying to get
rid of tears and fears.
Trying to stop
all the killings and sorrow,
Hoping it all
will be fine tomorrow.
Trying to
vanquish all the pain that we can,
Looking for
everyone’s helping hand.
Trying to make
peace between races,
Trying to unite
all the different faces.
Aiming to
demolish the cruel and mean,
Aiming to
accomplish peace as a team.
If you’re
willing to help they’re many ways how,
What about
starting just about now.
By befriending
a person different from you,
Its one step
towards what we’re trying to do!

Peace
Everyday I look
out of the window.
I thought I saw
the sun rising,
With its brick red
sunlight, so blinding.
But I was only
dreaming.
I’ll never see
it again.
Everyday, I
look out of the window.
I thought I
heard the birds singing,
The blue
butterflies flying.
But I was only
imagining,
I’ll never see
it again
I only see
plain land
You blink you
eyes,
In hope for a
better view
To wake up in
the morning
With the smell
of the morning dew.
To lay on the
vast green grass,
Or to reach the
top of that hill at last.
To chase those
silly bumble bees
And to know you
are free
Oh I have
waited here for it.
I have waited.
To see the
beauty and power.
A place full of
flowers,
But it is all
just a dream.
Those people
around me,
All those I
call friends.
Everyday, I
look out of my window.
I thought I saw
myself with my friends.
Out on that
field.
Where we kicked
those bottles and cans,
Oh, I’ll never
see it again.
Everyday I look
out of my window
I see dirt and
garbage everywhere
It is like one
major wreck
There is no
green land to share.
It is the
beauty of our country that we lack.
We will never
find it again.
We will never
see it again.
We will never
gain it again.
We will never
feel it again.
Stop destroying
us.
Stop killing
us.
Stop
threatening us.
Stop murdering
us.
You can take
all you want.
You can insult
all you want.
You can fight all
you want.
But you cannot
force all you want.
We want peace,
So please leave
